Rexburg, Idaho Temple

I’m amazed at how close to completion the Rexburg temple is. The open house will occur at the end of the year and then it will be dedicated early in 2008.

Four Corners

We stopped at Four Corners on our way from Texas to Idaho. I stopped there with my family when I was 8 years old and I don’t think anything has changed. There’s a slab of concrete where each state meets and some flags. It’s not all that exciting, but it was a fun stop with the girls.

Jeana at Four Corners

I was trying to get Audrey to pose like Jeana did but the effort was futile. Instead, I got the girls to play ring around the rosies with me on the monument.

Audrey’s Singing Debut

The primary children (ages 11 and under) from our church had a talent show on Saturday morning. At church the previous Sunday, Audrey told someone that she would sing a song from Les Miserables. The person Audrey told emailed Jeana asking her if Audrey would really sing and if she needed an accompanist. I had been planning on playing the piano for her if she wanted me to. In the end, I did. She did such a great job singing. The microphone was a new feature for her, we probably should have practiced that.
