When Valentines day rolled around, I hadn’t gotten out much yet so I hadn’t bought any goodies for Scott or Audrey and Kate. So, I decided to make a treasure hunt instead. It turned out to be really cute. Sometime during the night after one of Simon’s many feedings I sneaked into the girls room and taped hearts up all over the walls. I did the same thing in my room.
Then, I made a path of hearts coming from each room and meeting up in front of the stairs with the first clue.
When they woke up in the morning they followed the path to the first clue. The clues led them to their bathroom, the computer desk, the kitchen table, the ping pong table, and finally up into the extra bedroom where they had heart shaped cookies waiting for them.
After the hunt, we headed downstairs to a heart shaped pancake breakfast made by Scott and a fruit bouquet of yummy, yummy berries. He also gave me some yummy chocolate with personalized wrapping of pictures of my family. It was really cute and I’d put a picture in if I had one, but I don’t, and it’s all been eaten by now. It ended up being a really fun day.
