Simon was such a good boy in the car. Of course, he cried. What baby doesn’t cry? However, he was very well behaved and content most of the time. By the end of the second day of driving, even I was pretty grumpy.
We had a hard time stopping at every state line because either Kate or Simon would be asleep. Having either of them asleep in the car was like gold so we felt that we didn’t need a picture at every sign.
Is that NM sign in Clovis? For being a small town, it seems to go on forever (with the low speed limit).
Yeah, that sign is in Clovis. You know Clovis is nothing after driving 8 hours across Texas (which also seems to feel like it has a low speed limit after driving through it all day).
We’ve made that drive from Texas to Idaho enough times to vow never to do it again! Long, long, long.
