Oquirrh Temple Open House

At the last minute, we made a reservation to visit the Oquirrh Mountain Temple (click the link to see construction photos, or find out why temples are built) open house. Audrey and Kate have wanted to go inside a temple for so long – this was the perfect opportunity. Audrey’s favorite part was seeing the baptismal font laid on the back of 12 oxen statues.

Jeana thought I looked funny wearing the baby carrying device (a.k.a. the Baby Bjornn). Her comment made me feel a little self-conscious, but then I saw another dad wearing one too, and my masculinity returned. I later saw a picture of a friend wearing one, which confirmed that, YES, it is acceptable for dads to utilize such a practical resource.

  1. This is Jamie.

What a great experience for the girls. I bet they were so excited to go inside the Temple.

PS I think it is totally OK for dads to sport a baby bjorn.
